Steve Sarkisian trying to figure out what went wrong for USC — There was already speculation across the nation Friday whether USC coach Steve Sarkisian would last the season, which might frustrate Sarkisian if he was not so busy still trying to figure out what went wrong against Washington. This is the predicament facing USC for the rest of the season.

Reggie Bush did not cooperate with ESPN’s USC football film — Former USC tailback Reggie Bush refused to participate in ESPN's 30 for 30 film, "Trojan War," that airs Tuesday on the cable network. Bush reportedly was asked by former USC wide receiver and "Trojan War" producer Keyshawn Johnson "40 times" to participate in the film, which chronicles the Pete Carroll era, including the NCAA violations involving Bush.

USC keeps losing to underdogs in Steve Sarkisian era — USC coach Steve Sarkisian is cementing an identity in just 18 games and it's called giving up the significant upset. Washington, a 17-point underdog, stunned the Trojans, 17-12, on Thursday night but the Huskies also followed form in the Sarkisian era.

USC Morning Buzz: A Review Of ESPN’s 30 For 30 `Trojan War’ — I feel like I just went into a time machine and visited the Pete Carroll era again after watching "Trojan War," the ESPN 30 for 30 film on the USC dynasty. I believe USC fans will love this movie mostly because of its action footage of memorable games.

USC Morning Buzz: Adoree Jackson Makes Football Simple — Would USC be undefeated today if Adoree Jackson touched the ball against Stanford? He only had a few touches against Arizona State but made three electrifying plays including a swing pass that went 80 yards for a career-long TD to open the game's scoring and a 45-yard reception on third-and-six that helped produce a second-quarter touchdown drive.

Would #USC be undefeated today if Adoree Jackson got offensive touches against Stanford?…

Adoree Jackson Handles Heckler — A young Arizona State heckler was no match for Adoree Jackson's good-natured demeanor after the game, as you can see above. When the heckler said, "You going to party with your coach tonight?" Jackson responded, "You never know, we might have a sleepover." And when the heckler said, "Does USC pay you too like Reggie Bush?"

Inside USC with Scott Wolf — The Trojans are favored. With everyone down on USC (or its coaches), it's a perfect time for the Trojans to win a tough road game. But these Pac-12 games tend to be crazy. Remember two years ago, ASU scored 62 points. And USC's defense needs to play better.

3 USC Recruits Sign Financial Papers — USC announced this morning that linebacker Daelin Hayes, safety C.J. Pollard and offensive Nathan Smith signed financial-aid agreements that would allow them to enroll in January. Unlike a letter of intent, financial-aid paperwork is not binding for the recruit but is binding for the university. This entry was posted in Uncategorized by Scott Wolf.
