beta.dawn.com — ISLAMABAD: The anti-terrorist court in Islamabad on Wednesday discarded a bail plea filed by former military ruler Pervez Musharraf in the judges' detention case, DawnNews reported. Earlier today, ATC judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi had reserved the ruling on Musharraf's bail application during a hearing of the case.

Furthermore, the MQM chief called an emergency meeting of all party units in Karachi, including the Muttahida Organising Committee (MOC), its labour division, Rabita Committee, Karachi Tanzeemi Committee (KTC), Sindh Tanzeemi Committee and the women's wing, to be held on Tuesday evening at 6pm at Azizabad's Lal Qila Ground.
