David Armstrong, currently general counsel at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio, will replace the retiring Sister Margaret Stallmayer this summer. Armstrong was one of four finalists to visit the Crestview Hills campus in April.

kentucky.com — University of Kentucky student Jonathan Brigham hoped to become a cardiothoracic surgeon and travel the world giving surgeries to those in need. But a recently diagnosed heart condition killed him after an afternoon jog in Lexington, leaving hundreds of students and friends bereft. He will be remembered in services Friday.

Covington school up for National Register status
nky.cincinnati.com — The building that housed an African-American school on Greenup Street in Covington is being considered this morning to be nominated for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places. The Kentucky Historic Preservation Review Board is meeting in Louisville to review the Lincoln-Grant School and 14 other properties.
