@HadleyFreeman any campaign that involves Kate Garraway dressed up as an old pregnant women is just bonkers.
@harrywalker1 ps - your site looks utterly wicked. V jealous, hope you're absolutely loving every min. Xx
Now I'm ranting about motherhood on a Friday night instead of drinking and being a yobby woman that the Mail wld condemn. Must fix this.
@heidistephens exactly! My mum had me later. As long as you're happy with it, it's nobody else's business.
@harrywalker1 its ALL vile. Have them, don't have them, do it when you want. Why any woman would condemn other women's choices beyond me
@harrywalker1 as a woman lucky enough to have had 2 kids, and had them later in life, she should have no part in this.
Garraway dressed up as old pregnant woman to 'highlight' campaign. Dress as one of the older men who have 2nd families late in life instead.
Ugh. Go away. Kate Garraway says women shouldn't have babies later: telegraph.co.uk/women/mother-t… <- so stop old men doing it too then. #sexist

Kate Garraway: "I wish I'd had my babies younger"

telegraph.co.uk — Ms Garraway, 46, is fronting a campaign to encourage young women to think about fertility and giving birth much younger than "her generation". As part of the campaign, Ms Garraway spent a day being transformed into a heavily pregnant 70 year-old by Adrian Rigby, a prosthetic make-up artist, to "shock and provoke debate about how old is too old to have a baby".

My father has two earldoms, so why am I stuck with The Hon?

telegraph.co.uk — I must declare an interest. My father is the holder of not one, but two, earldoms, inherited by his forebears from cousins who ran out of sons. We are the Matthew Crawleys of the Bruce family, plucked from the relative obscurity of life as Edinburgh lawyers and dropped into the ermine of the peerage.
God this is a good review of Melanie Phillips and her latest book by @gabyhinsliff m.guardian.co.uk/books/2013/may… - actually really sad.

Guardian Angel: My Story, My Britain by Melanie Phillips - review

guardian.co.uk — Whatever would Melanie Phillips have done without the left? It has been her life's work to fight this many-headed hydra, hacking away tirelessly at its trendy teaching methods and loose morals and kooky environmentalism. But more than that, the heroic Phillips story depends not just on her vilification by the left but on leftwingers' supposed fury that she was once one of them.
