Witnesses: Car drives into crowd at Va. parade

bigstory.ap.org — DAMASCUS, Va. (AP) - Witnesses in southwestern Virginia say a car has driven into a crowd at a parade. Several people appear to be hurt, but the nature of their injuries wasn't immediately known.The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. Saturday during the Hikers Parade at the Trail Days festival.

Several people hit by a car during Trail Days

wcyb.com — Damascus, Va. - Washington County EMA Director Pokey Harris says 50-60 people were injured when a car hit a crowd of people at Trail Days in Damascus. Harris says 12-15 patients were taken to area hospitals by ambulance or helicopters. Some people are reported to be critically injured.
