The investment bank that was the lead underwriter to Facebook’s stock market flotation is being investigated over whether only key clients were alerted to its weakening financial projections. As Facebook’s shares continued their slide, Morgan Stanley was subpoenaed by the securities regulator for Massachusetts, William Galvin, who said his office is examining who was told that one of the bank’s analysts had cut his revenue estimates before the shares made their debut last Friday.
