Bicycle Magazine, the publication that Senator Chuck Schumer totally stores under his mattress and reads with a flashlight under the covers, has rated New York City the 7th best city in the country to pedal around on two wheels. #1 was Portland, Oregon. We demand to know which city has more subscribers to Bicycle Magazine! Minneapolis came in second, which makes sense, perhaps because of Minnesota's famously temperate weather which is just perfect for biking! Boulder, D.C., Chicago, and Madison all beat NYC as well. To make the list, a town had to have "robust cycling infrastructure and a vibrant bike culture."
