(CBS) The Bears announced Wednesday they have signed DT Nate Collins to one-year deal. Collins played in 12 games for Jaguars during the 2011 season. A product of the University of Virginia, Collins signed with the Giants in 2010 as an undrafted free agent.

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (CBS) - Eddie Blazonczyk, the man known as Chicago's polka king, has died at the age of 70. A news release says Blazonczyk died Monday. He was born in Chicago to Polish immigrant parents, and in 1986, his album, "Another Polka Celebration," won a Grammy award.

CHICAGO (CBS) - Chicago is remembering Studs Terkel Wednesday, on what would have been his 100th birthday. Terkel died at the age of 96 on Oct. 31, 2008. While he was actually a native of New York City, he became a Chicago legend as an author, broadcaster, oral historian and political activist.
