Health Department spokesman Donn Moyer says a Thurston County man was hospitalized. Moyer says no deaths have been reported in the state.

Caramel apples are most popular around Halloween, and the outbreak started just before then, in mid-October.

Tacoma rapist sentenced to prison

kirotv.com — TACOMA, Wash. - Andrake Morris was a teenager when he began sexually assaulting and robbing women in what prosecutors call a reign of terror. Now, at 20-years-old, Morris will spend 23 years to life in prison. He pleaded guilty in September to eight counts -- including attempted rape, indecent liberties, theft, robbery, burglary, assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
