Maple Grove Police, BCA Investigate Homicide and Officer-Involved Shooting — A shooting at a Maple Grove rest stop followed by a police chase has closed down a major interstate Wednesday morning. Eastbound Interstate 694 is closed at Interstate 35W due to the police activity near Rice Street. Westbound I-694 is also closed at Interstate 35E. Police were called around 1 a.m.

4 Charged in Efforts to Steal Millions from State — Ramsey County has charged four people in a $4 million public benefits fraud case. Ramsey County Attorney John Choi said the charges are the result of a 27-month investigation. Charged are Ahmed Aden Mohamed, 46, Yasmin Abdulle Ali, 33, and Joshua John Miller, 31, and Jordan Christopher Smith.
