Stevens: Appropriate To Consider Successor When Retiring From SCOTUS — This post has been updated. Former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens on Sunday said he thinks that it's appropriate for justices to consider politics when weighing their decision to retire. Justice Scalia Tells Students To 'Revolt' If Taxes Get Too High — Supreme Court Justice Anthony Scalia last week told students that they should protest is taxes in the U.S. if they become too high, according to CBS News. During a Tuesday speech at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Scalia said that the government has a right to impose the income tax, "but if it reaches a certain point, perhaps you should revolt."
