Thruway won't vote for a toll increase Friday

Oldest Spectacled Bear at Buffalo Zoo dies

wgrz.com — BUFFALO, N.Y.- Diana, the spectacled bear at the Buffalo Zoo, was humanely euthanized Tuesday due to her failing health. She was 35, making her the oldest spectacled bear in the world at the time of her death. Diana was born at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago in January 1979, and has been at the Buffalo Zoo since May 1980.
