tweets @terrybenish It didn't have to be one or the other. Plenty of room for both, with Saunders in RF.
Much as I liked many of the #Mariners offensive moves this winter, Indians showing them what they may have missed on. blogs.seattletimes.com/mariners/2013/…
Mariners seeing what that crucial speed element looks like
blogs.seattletimes.com — We've written many positive things in this space about the Mariners and their offense this season. But it's safe to say, this team is far from perfect offensively. And one of the shortcomings that gets mentioned a lot is the lack of athleticism and speed in the batting order. This might get my vote as worst game #Mariners have played this year. Only thing holding me back is quality of opponent, but not much longer
Keep those podcast questions coming. We have enough on Montero and Ryan to last the rest of the year, so something else, please. #Mariners
Looks like we'll be hitting the town here in Cleveland nice and early. We'll also be the only ones from Seattle hitting anything .#Mariners
That last run was on Felix. He had to back up at home, since Montero was 20 feet away from plate after making throw to 1B. 6-0. #Mariners
And the no-hitter is done now, too, thanks to Michael Saunders. Rest of this game should be a piece of cake.:) #Mariners
And Brendan Ryan takes one for the team on his backside, at least ensuring the #Mariners won't b perfect gamed today. Was starting to wonder
@Dono3 I think too much overemphasis gets placed on draft picks at times. Combo of that and the money.
@nickelduque In a heartbeat. Have written it many times.
