The $125 million first baseman is back in the Phillies' lineup Tuesday, one day after head athletic trainer Scott Sheridan said inflammation in Howard's knee "concerned us." The team was unsure whether Howard had a tear in his meniscus.
inquirer.com — The U.S. Golf Association and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews announced Tuesday that they have adopted a rule that prohibits the anchoring of the club while making a putting stroke, saying the style goes against the traditional golf swing.

According to baseball-almanac.com, there is video evidence of his fastball being clocked at 100 m.p.h. during an April 22, 2008 game at Fenway Park. It's a cool accomplishment because there are so few people on this planet who can generate that kind of arm speed.
