Colorado Humane Society receives large hay donation

denverpost.com — An anonymous donor has given 21 tons of hay to the Colorado Humane Society to help feed neglected horses. The donation was unsolicited and the donor delivered the bales, valued at about $7,000 according to humane society spokeswoman Amie Cavarra. "The hay will be used for horses in our care as well as horses in Colorado hay banks," Cavarra said.
