facebook.com — We have received the following information from companies or organizations conducting disaster relief: Total Eyecare has set up trailers outside their business, 311 Unicorn Lake Blvd., and will be collecting items for the Moore Oklahoma tornado victims. You may donate toileries, car seats, anything a family could need.

Locals assist Moore

dentonrc.com — Five Denton Fire Department employees left Monday evening for Moore, Okla., to help in the recovery effort after a tornado destroyed much of the city. Locally, many groups are collecting money and supplies for the victims. Kenneth Hedges, fire department spokesman, said the five employees are members of Texas Task Force 1.
