OPINION: Video, shmideo: reporting is about telling what you see and hear

j-source.ca — In the beginning was the word from Gawker. And on the second day, there came a Toronto Star story, and evening became morning, and then a full-blown scandal was on every front page, every newscast, and lo, the Daily Show saw that it was good, or at least funny.
