Will the warm, Summer temps last another day? — (PIX11 WEATHER CENTER) - Summer will last one more day in the Tri-State Area as high pressure will slowly continue to drift offshore later this afternoon. There will be a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms especially for the evening commute as cooler air begins to move into the region.

Damp, dreary Wednesday forecast — (PIX11 WEATHER CENTER) - The summer like temperatures have come to an end over the Tri-State Area as winds will be flowing onshore for the next few days. Skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers throughout the day. The afternoon high temperature will be 65 degrees in the City, low to mid 60s for the suburbs.

Partly cloudy skies and low temps making way for chilly end to workday — (PIX11 WEATHER CENTER) - Weak high pressure will influence the Tri-State area later this afternoon keeping the region in an unseasonably cool air mass for the next few days. Skies will be partly sunny today with a chance of a scattered shower well south of the City.

Dreary Friday but a beautiful weekend is on the horizon — (PIX11 WEATHER CENTER) - It will be a damp and gray day to end the work week as a stationary front will bring showers and periods of rain throughout the day. Temperatures will be unseasonably cool with highs in the mid 40s Friday afternoon.

Beautiful spring weather, but rain and maybe some snow are on the way — (PIX11 WEATHER CENTER) - Even though we are still nine days away from the first day of spring, Tuesday we will have a preview of the season as temperatures will be more than 10 degrees above normal. Central Park hit 60 degrees at 12:22 p.m., the warmest temperature since the mercury hit 61 on December 23.

After brutal few weeks, more sunshine and warm temps on the way — PIX11 WEATHER CENTER - The tri-state area will see a meltdown Thursday as unseasonably warm air will move into the region the next few days. Skies will be mostly sunny this morning then clouds will roll in this afternoon as a warm front approaches from the Mid-West.

NYC region snowstorm intensifies, with stronger winds and heavier snow accumulations expected — PIX11 WEATHER CENTER - The winter storm is packing a stronger punch than expected, with greater snowfall totals now predicted across the region. The PIX11 Weather Center is now predicting totals ranging from 5 to 8 inches on the Jersey Shore and the South Shore of Long Island, 8 to 12 inches in and around the city, and a foot to 18 inches north and west of the city.

Not again! Round of winter storms set to slam tri-state — PIX11 WEATHER CENTER - The tri-state area will be on an active weather pattern for the upcoming week and into next weekend. Monday, a storm system will move through the region, dumping as much as eight inches of snow in portions of the area.

As brutal cold holds tight grip on area, will more snow be on the way? — PIX11 WEATHER CENTER - The heavy snow has tapered off for most of the tri-state area Wednesday morning.
