Small dog rigged with explosives hurt in blast, Stockton police say

Investigators said the incident occurred Wednesday near Bianchi Road and Townehome Drive. Neighbors reported hearing a loud boom and came across an injured dog. The dog, a long-haired Dachshund, was taken to a pet clinic, where it is being treated for injuries that are said to be non-life-threatening.
