nj.com — HAMILTON - One day after Hamilton Mayor John Bencivengo appeared before a federal judge on a single extortion charge, the scope of the corruption probe widened as the township and Hamilton school board were ordered by subpoena to turn over financial documents, tax bills, telephone records and school contracts related to Bencivengo and the health insurance broker from whom he allegedly took bribes.
