Fire at Chevron refinery in Richmond

sfgate.com — A shelter-in-place order was put in place for Richmond, North Richmond and San Pablo after a fire broke out at a Chevron refinery Monday night, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department. Community health warning sirens rang through the area shortly after the fire broke out at about 6:30 p.m.., spewing thick black smoke into the sky.
