Ravi sentenced to 30 days in jail plus probation in Rutgers webcam case

philly.com — NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - In a crowded courtroom this afternoon, Dharun Ravi was sentenced to 30 days in jail for bias intimidation and attempting to cover up the crime in the Rutgers University webcam spying case. Superior Court Judge Glenn Berman also ordered Ravi to serve three years’ probation, perform 300 hours of community service and pay $10,000 to assist victims of bias crimes.
