Ammonia spill forces evacuation of Seabrook nuclear plant building

boston.com — A spill of less than one gallon of a substance commonly used in household cleaners caused the evacuation of part of the Seabrook nuclear plant's administration building today, officials said. Around 1:45 p.m., the ammonium hydroxide spilled in a stock room on the first floor of the building at the New Hampshire plant, said Neil Sheehan, a spokesman for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
