Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul was selected to the 2011-12 All-NBA First Team the NBA announced today, becoming the first Clippers player since the team moved to Los Angeles in 1984 to be recognized with a first team selection. Clippers forward Blake Griffin was named to the All-NBA Second Team. Paul is the second player in franchise history to earn a spot on the All-NBA First Team, joining Bob McAdoo in 1974-75 when the team was the Buffalo Braves. The last Clippers player to receive All-NBA honors was Elton Brand in 2006 (Second Team). Paul received 74 first team votes in making the second All-NBA First Team selection of his career (2008).
