New York City Triathlon Signs Title Sponsorship with Aquaphor By Michael Buteau - Fri May 11 11:00:00 GMT 2012 Beiersdorf AG (BEI)’s Aquaphor skin care lotion will be the new title sponsor of the New York City Triathlon as part of a three-year agreement with the sport’s most expensive Olympic-distance race. Financial terms weren’t disclosed by the company or John Korff, owner of Korff Enterprises Inc., which has staged the race since 2001. The new title sponsorship will help offset about $1.8 million in annual costs to stage the race, according to Korff. That price rose about $250,000 this year to pay for staging costs, including service charges by the city’s police and parks departments, Korff said. (MET), the largest U.S. life insurer, agreed to buy the Reynolds Plantation luxury residential golf community and resort in Greensboro, Georgia. Terms weren’t disclosed. The resort’s Ritz-Carlton Lodge, which opened in 2002, has 251 guest rooms and a 26,000-square-foot (2,400-square-meter) spa, and its six golf courses include Great Waters, designed by Jack Nicklaus. Chris Haack, the men's golf coach at the University of Georgia, leads one of only two collegiate programs that can make it.
