jsonline.com — Telkonet Inc. (TKOI) said Wednesday its loss narrowed in the first quarter as strong demand for energy management technology drove a 62% increase in sales. The Wauwatosa company has developed an energy management system that includes smart thermostats, occupancy sensors and wireless controls to curb energy use in empty rooms at hotels and college dormitories.

ZBB Energy loss narrows as product sales double

jsonline.com — ZBB Energy Corp.'s product sales doubled and its quarterly loss narrowed in the quarter that ended March 31, the Menomonee Falls company said. ZBB reported a loss of $2.82 million, or 4 cents a share, compared with $3.47 million, or 9 cents a share, last year.

jsonline.com — The Kewaunee Power Station stopped generating power late Tuesday morning, becoming the first nuclear power plant in the country to cease operating since the late 1990s. Dominion Resources Inc. had been scheduled to stop producing power at about noon, but the cessation actually occurred shortly after 11 a.m., said Mark Kanz, a Dominion spokesman.
