In the first decade of the 21st century, the Canadian band received the fifth-most radio play and was the 11th top seller of albums in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Pollstar estimates the band was the 40th top-grossing North American touring act of the decade. And Nickelback's ubiquitous 2001 smash "How You Remind Me" was played on the radio more frequently than any other song from 2001 to 2009, according to Nielsen.
