cnn.com — (CNN) -- A Metro-North commuter train derailed Friday evening in southwestern Connecticut, police said. The train derailed along the system's Fairfield/Bridgeport line. Fairfield, Connecticut, police oficer Matthew Panilaitis said around 6:30 p.m. that police were heading to the scene. There was no immediate information on any injuries or damage.
