By Joe Palazzolo Associated Press U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald In his career, PatrickFitzgerald, the much-feared U.S. attorney in Chicago, has rarely seen his rectitude questioned. He’s been trashed by the men he put in prison, sure, like any good prosecutor. But there was that one time, at a news conference in 2008, when Mr. Fitzgerald declared that ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevichs “conduct would make Lincoln roll over in his grave. Some in the legal profession accused him of shirking his obligation to avoid prejudicial speech about theaccused. Mr. Fitzgerald, who announced Wednesdaythat he is resigning after 11 years, said today the remark was among his “few” regrets. From Reuters: “It seemed like a good idea at the time,” Fitzgerald said, eliciting laughter from solemn staff members ... Continue reading →
I disagree, Mr. Fitzgerald. I think Lincoln would roll over in his grave if he knew we were illegally entering American homes and wiretapping them. What ever happened to the right to privacy? I don't think Bush had terrorists in mind when situations like this go down. It's clear that illegal wiretapping has been used by Republicans to bring people down. I hope Obama reverses this un-Constitutional act. lthom33 3 years ago Continue reading →

Drones have been used overseas to target and kill high-level terror leaders and are also being used along the U.S.-Mexico border in the battle against illegal immigration. But now, these drones are starting to be used domestically at an increasing rate. The Federal Aviation Administration has allowed several police departments to use drones across the U.S. They ...
