My beef with the US Open is it's not always won with great golf. It's one with the golf that is the least bad. Justin Rose's finish? GREAT.
A lesson in persistence: remember this is the same Justin Rose who missed 21 CONSECUTIVE cuts to start his pro career. #waytohanginthere

Who's The Tour's Best Iron Player?

golfdigest.com — From shotlink, the tour's stat-tracker, we know the longest driver last year was Bubba Watson at 315.5 yards, the most accurate driver was Jerry Kelly at 73 percent of fairways hit, and using a stat called strokes gained in putting, the top putter was Brandt Snedeker at .86 strokes over the field per round.

The final four pairings played the first six holes in 20-over par. That's not good, right?
Pet peeve: Completely unrealistic TV graphics. Don't write "For birdie and outright lead" when a guy is putting from three counties over.
RT @knbrmurph: Steve Stricker made an '8' on No. 2. It's the Curse of Billy Horschel's Octopus Pants, I swear. #USOpen
