cbsnews.com — Emmy-award winning actor James Gandolfini, best known for his portrayal of Tony Soprano on the HBO mobster drama "The Sopranos," died, HBO confirms. He was 51. Gandolfini won three Emmy's for his portrayal of a conflicted New Jersey mob boss. According to Deadline, he was in the works to star in a new limited series for HBO, called Criminal Justice.
