The MIA people mover train at Miami International Airport is expected to resume normal operations within the next 24 hours after a car malfunctioned and overturned on Sunday, airport officials said. The affected train car has been removed and two of the system’s other trains will be used on the alternate track, airport spokesman Greg Chin said in a statement Monday shortly after 9 a.m. MIA mover, Rental Car Center, Miami-Dade Aviation Department/COURTESY Shuttle buses will continue transporting passengers between the airport and its Rental Car Center until the MIA Mover is back in service, Chin said.
