3 suspects held in homicide of Yonkers man

lohud.com — YONKERS - Three men were being held by police in connection with the stabbing death of a 49-year-old man Saturday night, police said. The names of the three men have not yet been released and they have not yet been charged. The victim was identified Sunday as Henry DiMatteo of 6 Winnebago Road.

Man stabbed in back in Yonkers

lohud.com — YONKERS - A man was stabbed in the back Thursday night in the 100 block of Beech Street, police said. The stabbing was reported at about 11 p.m. and the victim was taken to a local hospital. According to police, the victim is not cooperating.

Yonkers police offer free vehicle ID etching Friday

Yonkers police probe shooting in Doyle Park

lohud.com — YONKERS - A man was shot Friday night in Doyle Park off Ashburton Avenue, authorities said. The man's identity was not yet known, but police said he was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said he appeared to have been shot in the leg and finger.
