The Lady Bulldogs traveled to the 15-team Bloomington South Invitational at Stone Crest Golf Course. Batesville posted a team score of 337 to place fourth overall.

The Major League Baseball trade deadline ended Monday. Several teams made moves to bolster a run at the playoffs and hopefully a World Series title. That team in blue out west did it again. The L.A. Dodgers may have pulled off the biggest "get" of all the teams before the trade deadline. Detroit's Tarik Skubal was sent to the Dodgers for prospects. Skubal is the 2-time defending Cy Young winner in the American League.
