@mbibbey @SkratchLabs So I'm not arguing sodium has no role in sports drinks, because it's useful for other things, but never seen good evidence on cramps.

@megrunnergirl My understanding is yes, possibly in nocturnal cramps, but I've never seen research showing exercise induction related to minerals?

What was your first job as a journalist?

As an associate editor at a local fashion magazine. I steamed so many party dresses used the words "fun and flirty" way too many times.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Never. I have no idea how to even work one. Me working on a typewriter would probably be like watching my mom try and navigate Excel.

How is social media changing news?

It's making it easier for really strong, smart reporting to be found, but it also makes it easier for good things to get buried.
