I'm an award winning journalist and editor based in Chicago in the United States. I'm Opinions Editor on The Flyer at Lewis University and Media Editor for Kettle Magazine based in the UK.

I contribute stories on items such as national affairs, international affairs, and technology to The Flyer and write columns in the paper on the media. I write on the media and UK affairs for Kettle.

What was your first job as a journalist?

I was a reporter with my high school newspaper.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

I have not used a typewriter.

How is social media changing news?

It has significantly changed it. Consumption is now high on Facebook and Twitter and it has changed the modern journalistic craft.
