Yes, I own a beautiful vintage typewriter that was restored for me as a gift. I do my best thinking on it.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To be rabidly curious, eager to share what you know and fundamentally skeptical of the world.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

I dislike press releases that tout a new product's greatness. I prefer to be pitched on ideas that can pose questions about how we live.
