I didn't choose journalism as a career, it chose me. (I wanted to teach first grade!)
I started out at as an editor/entertainment reporter at a TV magazine, went into daily journalism at a midsize newspaper, then turned to a smaller, community-focused newsroom to complete my municipal reporting career.
I'm now editor of a parenting magazine (hey, I successfully raised a teenager, I'm an expert, right?!).
