SOUTH HAVEN — For 18 years, Ron Ranta has called the South Haven Boys & Girls Club home.He recently stopped by the club to say goodbye to all the friends he has met over the years. Ranta is the new director for the Duneland club. Jason Kegebein is the new South Haven director. He was previously the program director at the club.For both Ranta and Kegebein, these moves are bittersweet. "I started out as a volunteer coach at the Valpo club prior to coming to the South Haven club," Ranta said.
CHESTERTON — Students at St. Patrick School enjoyed their last day of school Wednesday with a field day on their new playground equipment.Kohl's Cares, where the department store supports children's initiatives, raised half of the $96,000 for the equipment. Other funds were from St. Patrick's Home and School group, the Rev. James Meade, the church, fundraisers and parents. "The new playground equipment was old and needed to be upgraded," Principal Richard Rupcich said.
VALPARAISO — The Valparaiso High School UNICEF chapter is busy making plans for a fundraiser to help those in need.A Battle of the Bands concert will be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Urschel Pavilion in Central Park Plaza. Suggested entrance fee is $5. All proceeds will be donated to the Shelter for Abused Children in Accra, Ghana. Bands will be performing and competing during the evening. There will be a variety of performances from Valparaiso students and some other activities.

Find results that mention multiple specified terms, use AND or

Exact case matching or punctuation
If you're searching for a brand name or keyword that relies on specific punctuation marks or capitalization, you can
find results that match your exact query by adding matchcase: before the keyword you're searching for, like matchcase:E*TRADE .
Use parentheses to separate multiple
boolean phrases. For example, to find journalists talking about having fun in Disney World or
Disneyland, search for ("disney world" OR disneyland) AND fun.
An asterisk can be used to search for any variation of a root word truncated by the asterisk. For example, searching for admin* will return results for administrator, administration, administer, administered, etc.
A near operator is an AND operator where you can control the distance between the words. You can vary the distance the near operation uses by adding a forward slash and number (between 0-99) such as strawberries NEAR/10 "whipped cream", which means the strawberries must exist within 10 words of "whipped cream".
