What was your first job as a journalist?

I was fortunate to begin my career at Canada's largest daily. I hope to be there till the end.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, but not in journalism. Grade 9 typing: "Birds, butterflies and moths, all fly in the air."

How is social media changing news?

It's made it far more immediate.
