What was your first job as a journalist?

Unpaid: high school newspaper. Paid: reporter intern at the Fulton County Expositor in Wauseon, OH, about 40 miles from Toledo

Yes -- a manual one no less.

How is social media changing news?

It's an equalizer. Anyone can break a story, and everyone can see it. I get a lot of my breaking news first on Twitter, not Web sites.
