Marlborough vineyard under the sheltering sky, captured during the golden hour. If Marlborough placed New Zealand on the world wine map, Kevin Judd is arguably its chief cartographer. Establishing Cloudy Bay in 1985 with fellow pioneer, David Hohnen of Margaret River's Cape Mantelle, Judd's singular Sauvignon Blanc assumed iconic status faster than perhaps any previous wine, anywhere. Judd directed Cloudy Bay's first twenty-five vintages before launching his own label, Greywacke, in 2009.
