Authorities said a man who crashed a vehicle and fled from the scene later used a golf cart to try to evade law enforcement. Around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers assisted McClain County deputies in pursuit of a vehicle that had crashed near 24th Avenue Southeast and Highway 9. Two people fled from the vehicle, authorities said.
Recently the mayor and City Council of Eureka voted to move the Davidson barn in Woodford County from the original plot in Lake Park to a different one in the park, calling it a compromise. It was a complete surprise to those opposed to this park project.
