May 21, 2017 is the third anniversary of President Barack Obama designating Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument. The Trump administration is currently reviewing the designation. Last week, we asked our readers if they would like to see the monument stay, go or be reduced in size. We received more than 65 responses totaling 11,000 words, most in favor of keeping OMDP as is.
