I saw Paddington 2 last night, and for me it's the best film of 2017. See why on . I particularly liked Hugh Grant's costumes - and, indeed, Hugh Grant.
Ken Dodd once rang me up to volunteer his services in my musical Hard Times (to play ringmaster Samuel Sleary). I said the show already ran three hours, and with him it would run five. He agreed but said at least it would get the show into the Guinness Book of Records.
My first crime novel The Football Manager Murders (Proper Charlie Mystery 1) will be published by The Book Guild on 28th May. Order now! Please! (it's already up on Amazon, at a mere £8.99.)
