Herb Greenberg makes his triumphant return to TheStreet in a big way: he will pull triple duty as the writer of a daily blog, a contributor to Real Money’s “Columnist Conversation” and the editor of a subscription newsletter titled “Herb Greenberg’s Reality Check.” He left in 2006 to join Marketwatch then moved over to CNBC as a senior stocks commentator. "Congrats to @herbgreenberg on the move back to TheStreet," remarked Joe Weisenthal of Business Insider. "Welcome back to TheStreet, @herbgreenberg," old/new colleague James Rogers greeted him. According to his CNBC profile, however, Greenberg will continue to be a regular CNBC contributor.

The New Yorker's newest business editor Vauhini Vara is now in charge of its newest biz blog, a money-oriented site appropriately titled "Currency." Previously a staff writer for the Wall Street Journal, Vara has been charged with expanding the publication's business coverage. "Great to see @vauhinivara now writing for newyorker.com," commented Kevin Delaney from Quartz. Recently Vara tweeted of her move, "It's my first day as business editor at http://NewYorker.com. Thrilled."
