What’s does King’s dream look like today?

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech and the New York Times looks at The Lasting Power of Dr. King’s Dream Speech. LaSharah Bunting there called it, “An eloquent, stirring essay exploring the lasting power of MLK's dream speech.” Aaron Edwards with Digital First Media quoted the piece: "Why does Dr. King’s 'Dream' speech exert such a potent hold on people around the world and across the generations?"

Over at Mother Jones, though, there’s The Dark Side of "I Have a Dream": The FBI's War on Martin Luther King by David Corn. Nick Baumann there wrote, “How MLK's ‘I Have a Dream’ speech intensified J. Edgar Hoover's ugly covert crusade against the civil rights leader.”
