He also tweeted: “What happens when Thanksgiving & Hanukkah intersect? You get #Thanksgivingukkah. And a new spin on holiday shopping.” Lauren Young with Reuters had another answer: “Turkey latkes.” Daniel Bentley from Circa said, “Jews, Americans, American Jews, prepare for THANKSGIVINGUKKAH.” Lauren McCullough at Breaking News added, “For 1st time since 1918, Thanksgiving and 1st day of Hanukkah fall on same day this year; won't again until 2070.”
