The other ‘S’ headline - spying

This morning, the New York Times reports that the N.S.A. Foils Much Internet Encryption from Nicole Perlroth. Ben Fowlkes with USA Today said, “The NSA laughs at your encryption efforts.” Mark Glaser via PBS wrote, “#NSA able to foil basic safeguards of privacy on the web.” Bruce Arthur with the National Post added, “Edward Snowden, whistleblower.”

The Guardian is back on the case, writing US and UK spy agencies defeat privacy and security on the internet from Glenn Greenwald and James Ball. Richard Adams there said, “Latest NSA revelations perhaps the most chilling: huge implications for e-commerce and online banking security.”
