In case you missed the news last night (perhaps you were in transit), the Washington Post has a running transcript of President Obama’s Sept. 10 speech on Syria.

Speaking of Syria, we hear from Twitter that since August 21, 12.2 million Tweets related to the conflict have been sent. Close to 1,277,365 million mentioned Assad and 921,129 included Obama. Meanwhile, a considerably smaller population (roughly 0.02 percent) mentioned the Pope’s call for peace #prayforpeace.
